BD·RANK exists to make one thing legible at a glance: what the community currently supports, and what somebody sponsored. It never crowns a definitive winner — it reports live, verified support.
The two rules that never bend
1. The dual-rank firewall
Community Rank is earned from verified votes and cannot be bought. Marketing Rank is sponsored placement, always flagged, always separated by a 2px rule. They are never merged, averaged or shown at equal weight.
2. Every badge carries its month
Every badge shows the month of its live snapshot. Votes are cumulative across all months; these are not completed monthly awards. Ties use the time the current vote total was reached, then name and profile ID. Rankings shown throughout the site are overall positions.
FAQ
Can a business pay to rank higher on Community Rank?
No. Community Rank is earned from verified public votes only.
Who verifies a voter, and how?
Voting requires a signed-in account. Each account gets one vote per business. Automated checks can hold suspicious activity for manual review before it affects a position.
When does Marketing Rank launch?
After payment and verified reporting are connected. Until then, every Marketing Rank surface remains clearly marked “coming soon.”
