Your account, votes and business details.

Account and votes

Sign-in provides an account identifier and email. Votes are linked to that identifier to enforce one active vote per account per business. Public profiles display vote totals, not voter identities. You can remove your active vote using the same vote button.

Submissions and claims

Business submissions include the details and optional logo you provide. Ownership claims include your account, verification method and any work email or proof you upload. Claim evidence is stored for review and is not displayed on public profiles.

Reviews and reports

Published reviews show the rating, text and date. Reports, supporting evidence and moderation records are handled separately from public reviews. Avoid including private information in text intended for publication.

Security and service operation

The service uses request metadata for rate limiting and operational diagnostics. Hosting and account providers process information needed to serve the site and authenticate you. Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ own policies.

Discovery and share measurement

We record profile visits, primary-link clicks, share actions and vote outcomes to understand how people discover businesses. A random browser-session identifier and, when signed in, a pseudonymous account identifier help us avoid duplicate counts. Participant share links include a random link identifier; they do not contain an email or account name. These records are stored by BD·RANK, are visible only to administrators and do not change Community Rank. Browser session identifiers are held in session storage. We do not send these events to an advertising network.

Corrections

Use the report form to request a correction or raise a concern. Removing a vote deletes the active vote; submission and moderation records may need to be retained for review.
